Our Story
How We Started
Solitech Prime Consolidated Ltd was founded in 2011 by James Hartley, a third-generation builder who grew up watching his grandfather restore Victorian terraces across South London. Frustrated by an industry where corners were cut and homeowners left disappointed, James set out to build a company that did things differently.
Starting with a small team of four, we took on our first full renovation in Islington and delivered it three days ahead of schedule. Word spread. Within two years we had expanded across Greater London, and by 2016 we were operating across England — bringing the same standards of craft and care to homes from Cornwall to Northumberland.
Today, Solitech Prime employs over 60 skilled tradespeople and specialists, including one of the few dedicated smart home integration teams in the UK construction sector. We remain privately owned, and James still visits every project personally before handover.
